Memorial Stupas and Retreats

Earthworks have now been completed for erecting the first retreat hut.

Memorial and Peace Stupas:

Two sizes of Memorial Stupa are now available, very beautiful and powerful in design.
All of the "Eight Great Stupas" will be built. In some cases, the sponsor of an entire stupa may choose which of the eight to build.
The name of the sponsor of an entire stupa, or the deceased for which the stupa is a memorial, can be shown with their stupa.
The stupas will be filled with auspicious items according to Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
Each stupa will be blessed in a special ceremony by an authorised Lama once finished (and the ashes of the deceased are interred, if that is desired, which is done at the beginning of building the stupa).
All stupas will be provided with ledges for light offerings, water bowl offerings, etc.
Donation amounts will depend on costs at the time of construction. Current figures are stated below. Two options are available at this time (amounts include projected maintenance costs afterwards):

Donations in general towards the stupas for world peace can also be made. Any amount of donation towards the stupas accumulates great merit.
